- The Intensive French Course D includes the morning Intensive French Course A and three afternoon workshops of your choice. This Intensive French course allows our students to focus on specific skills and subjects, and especially on written French if students select the 3 afternoon classes dedicated to Writing & Grammar.
As the Intensive French Course D includes 3 afternoon classes, students may easily enrol for the 3 ‘Writing and Grammar’ workshops (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) but students may of course mix and match three of our afternoon classes: ‘Writing and Grammar’, ‘Oral Communication’ (Monday and Friday) or ‘French Culture and Civilisation’ (Monday and Friday).
Flexibility: At any time during your stay you can also decide to change two of your afternoon classes for the DALF and DELF preparation lessons for only a low fee.
This Intensive French course D is open to all levels, from complete beginner to advanced.

Test
With the confirmation of your registration you will receive a self-assessment form and a written test that you must complete and return to us before the start of your course so that our teaching team can place you in a class of your level.

Course Content
Timetable: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 13:00 and three afternoons, 14:00 to 17:00
Morning course:
The morning course (course A) is aimed at all students from all levels who wish to improve their language skills in General French covering everyday topics and situations.

Afternoon classes:

Certificate
A certificate will be given to each student at the end of the course. It includes the predicted level, the level achieved as well as the levels reached in the 4 skills, a detailed description of your abilities and progress in the different areas: oral, written and socio-cultural plus general comments.
This assessment can be used at university (to earn credits) or for professional purposes (training course validation, CV, etc.).

Diploma
At the end of your stay you also can take an exam to get the official “Diplôme de langue et culture françaises” recognised by the Académie de Paris. Exam fees: 50 euros. Sample of the Diploma can be seen HERE

- The General Intensive French Course D is available to adult students aged 16 and over all year round.
Our recommendation
- During your stay at ACCORD you can always ask to add one or two extra afternoon workshops, and you will just have to pay the difference between your course and the course including the additional requested workshops.
- Additional one to one tuition can also be booked for one week or more at a low fee!
