- ILC exam preparation in France: The ILC preparation course for the French Irish Leaving Certificate includes the morning General French Course ‘A’ and two afternoon classes dedicated to improving oral communication skills and/or writing & grammar skills to prepare for the exam.
This ACCORD ILC Exam Preparation in France allows students to focus on specific skills and subjects to prepare the French ILC exam in the best conditions. This course dedicated to prepare the ILC French exams encourages students to practise their French through the use of authentic material and to learn related idiomatic expressions in various contexts. The emphasis will be on improving confidence in speaking and listening in French in a range of everyday situations. Subjects covered in class include: topical vocabulary and language, study of grammatical structures, pronunciation and listening skills, social skills, cultural awareness, reading and writing skills, conversational French.

– ILC Program D1 (34 lessons – 26 h/week): Intensive course A (Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 13:00) + 2 afternoon classes of your choice (14:00 to 17:00)
– ILC Program D2 (38 lessons – 29 h/week): Intensive course A (Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 13:00) + 3 afternoon classes of your choice (14:00 to 17:00)
– ILC Program D3 (38 lessons – 29 h/week): Intensive course A (Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 13:00) + 2 afternoon classes of your choice (14:00 to 17:00) + 3 hours in one to one lessons.

Test
With the confirmation of your registration you will receive a self-assessment form and a written test that you must complete and return to us before the start of your course so that our teaching team can place you in a class of your level. Read more about ACCORD tests and language levels

Certificate
A certificate will be given to each student at the end of the course.

Diploma
At the end of your stay you also can take an exam to get the official “Diplôme de langue et culture françaises” recognised by the Académie de Paris. Exam fees: 50 euros. Sample of the Diploma

The school will be closed April 10th, May 1st, May 8th, May 18th, July 14th, August 15th, November 1st and from Saturday December 16th 2023 to Sunday January 7th 2024 included. The school will open on Monday January 8th 2024
