Intensive French Language program in Paris
Learning French in Paris puts the language in a real-world context. Since 1988, ACCORD has taught intensive immersion programs to adults from around the world. We are located near the Eiffel Tower and open all year-round to students aged 16 and older. Being in Paris means you practice what you learn immediately, you leave class and have to order lunch, ask for directions, and navigate the city in French.
Why should you take intensive French courses?
Standard courses are fine for a hobby, but intensive formats push you to stop translating in your head and start thinking in French. By spending several hours a day practicing with experienced teachers, the language becomes second nature!
We prioritise oral communication, backed by enough grammar to ensure you speak correctly and confidently. Our classes rely on constant interaction. Because our students come from all over the world, French becomes the only common language in the classroom.
Written and oral course options
Students come to us with different goals. Some need French for work, while others are preparing for university, to prepare an exam, etc. We offer several programs:
- Intensive and super-intensive French courses
- Business French and French & Law programs
- Exam preparation for official certifications
- Semi-intensive French courses
- Programs for Au Pairs and school groups
Official TCF exam center
ACCORD is an official TCF exam center. You can take one of the “Test de Connaissance du Français” (TCF) directly at our school, which is helpful if you need to validate your skills for residency, citizenship, or university entrance.
We administer the TCF IRN, TCF TP, TCF Canada and the Examen Civique. Our team will help you sort out exam dates and pricing and taking the test in the same building where you study takes away some of the worries and leaves you to focus on the exam.
Accreditation and teaching staff
ACCORD is a “Qualité FLE” accredited school, the highest official rating for French language schools in France. We are also member of professional organizations like SOUFFLE.FLE, ATOUT FRANCE, and CAMPUS FRANCE.
Our teachers specialize entirely in teaching French as a foreign language. They know how to keep students engaged with interactive lessons, ensuring the class is actively involved and motivated, making sure students retain what they learn.
The Paris environment
Because we welcome students from all over the world, you will have to use French during breaks, in your host family and during your leisure activities. It is also a natural way to build an international network.
Our French school sits near the famous Eiffel tower, the Champs de Mars and at walking distance from the Invalides. You aren’t just memorizing vocabulary in a vacuum, you are learning the language in the middle of Paris, putting it to use the moment you walk out the door.
