For more than 35 years, ACCORD French Language School and its accommodation partners have worked with carefully selected families inside Paris, allowing students to enjoy city life without long daily commutes from the suburbs.
Our host families are accustomed to welcoming international students and helping them discover both the French language and Parisian culture in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
Because every student is different, every family is different too. Some families have children or teenagers, others are retired couples or living alone. Some have pets, and many come from multicultural backgrounds themselves.
This diversity allows us to match students and families as closely as possible. We therefore encourage students to tell us as much as possible about themselves, their interests, lifestyle, dietary requirements and personal preferences, so that we can recommend the host family best suited to their profile.
Accommodation options to suit every student
ACCORD offers several host family options to accommodate different budgets and lifestyles:
- Single room with breakfast (Bed & Breakfast)
- Single room with breakfast and kitchen access
- Half-board (breakfast and dinner every day)
- Single room with breakfast and two evening meals per week
- VIP single room with half-board (single room with en-suite shower)
- Twin rooms for two friends travelling together (subject to availability)
The half-board option remains the most popular choice. After a day of classes and sightseeing, many students appreciate returning to a welcoming home, sharing dinner with their host family and continuing to practise French in a relaxed atmosphere.
Host family accommodation is available throughout the year.
