Paris in August: what not to miss if you’re studying French at ACCORD this summer!

As every student at ACCORD school will tell you, Paris doesn’t suddenly become a ghost town in August! There is so much to do and see: pop-up beaches on the banks of the Seine, museum exhibitions, outdoor concerts and festivals in the French capital’s leafy parks. You’ll soon see that Paris is jam-packed with excuses to get outside the classroom, explore the city and practise your French in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere.

Whether you want to spend time studying Matisse or Delacroix paintings, experience the thrill of the European Aquatics Championships or enjoy an outdoor concert one evening in August, here is a selection of events which must not be missed this month in Paris.
